We do not use traditional cookie-based tracking to track partner and affiliate activity. Instead, we use a more accurate and transparent system built around referral links and promo codes. Here’s how it works:
- No cookies required: Since we don’t rely on cookies, our tracking avoids common issues like expired, blocked, or cleared cookies. This ensures better long-term attribution for our partners.
- Referral links and promo codes: Each partner is assigned a unique referral link and a promo code. When a trader clicks on a referral link and proceeds to register or log in, the associated promo code will automatically populate at checkout.
- Last-click attribution: Affiliate attribution follows a last-click model. This means the promo code associated with the most recent referral link clicked will be the one applied at checkout.
- Ongoing commissions: Partners earn commissions on subscription renewals and test account resets, not just first-time purchases.
- Account-based code tracking: Promo codes are applied at the account level, not the user level. If a trader creates multiple accounts, each account can be associated with a different affiliate depending on the promo code used during checkout. For this reason, partners should remind their audience to apply their promo code on every account purchase.
