“Does this affect when I become eligible to request a payout?”

No, eligibility to request a payout is unchanged. This update only affects how fast a withdrawal request is approved once it is submitted.

“How fast will my account-to-wallet withdrawal process be?”

For eligible accounts, the account-to-wallet withdrawal process will take 5-10 seconds. The automated system runs instantly once a request is submitted. There is no manual review step and no pending window.

“Can I get back to trading while my withdrawal is processing?”

You cannot trade while the withdrawal is processing, but the wait is a matter of seconds. The only requirement is being flat with no open positions or working orders at the exact moment the request is submitted. Once complete, the funds are in your wallet and you are free to get straight back to trading. No manual review, no waiting on approvals, no sitting out of the market.

“If I made profits at 3:00PM EST, when is the soonest I can have them withdrawn”

The TPT dashboard reflects updated account balances approximately between 8-9PM EST. Submit your withdrawal request while flat and the account-to-wallet step completes in seconds. From profit at 3PM to funds in your wallet, same evening.

“Do I need to be flat to submit a withdrawal request?”

Yes, traders must have no open positions or working orders at the exact moment the request is submitted. Once the automated check runs and the funds move to the wallet, trading can resume immediately.

“Can my withdrawal request get denied?”

Yes, your withdrawal requests can get denied, but only for one of four reasons: 

If a request is denied for any of these reasons, the issue can be resolved and the request resubmitted immediately. There is no queue to re-enter and no waiting period.

“Does this apply to all TPT account withdrawals?”

This update covers the vast majority of Tradovate PRO account withdrawals. Rithmic PRO, PRO+ withdrawals, and a small number of archived Tradovate PRO accounts remain manual for now. Archived accounts are those that Tradovate flags after three or more days of liquidation as part of their routine system maintenance. Automating the majority of withdrawal volume frees the service team to process those remaining manual requests faster too.

“How long until my payout lands in my bank account?”

Once funds are in your wallet, submitting a payout request to your bank is a separate step. The Profit Team manually reviews payout requests to the wallet for compliance purposes, which takes up to 12 business hours, though usually a lot faster. From there, bank processing time depends on the payout method. Same-day bank deposit is not guaranteed. For US bank accounts, payouts are processed through Plaid and are typically real-time, though in some cases it may take 1-2 business days depending on the bank. For international payouts via PayPal or Wise, processing takes up to 12 business hours.

Q: Does a registration denial always mean I am in a restricted country?

A: Registration denials can occur due to multiple separate risk factors. A restricted-country determination is only one possible cause.

VPN Policy

Q: Why can’t I register while using a VPN?

A: To ensure platform security, prevent fraudulent activity, and maintain strict compliance with regulatory identity verification standards, our system does not accept registrations while a VPN connection is being used. Please fully disable your VPN connection and attempt the registration again.

Q: Is VPN usage prohibited on TakeProfitTrader?

A: VPN usage is specifically restricted during the account registration process. New customers must complete registration without an active VPN connection. This registration restriction should not be interpreted as a general prohibition on VPN usage after an account has been successfully registered.

Q: I am not using a VPN. Why am I receiving a VPN-related denial message?

How Your Trading Shapes Your Path

The core principle is that performance in Test and PRO should reasonably replicate in live-market PRO+ conditions.

Traders whose profile shows higher-risk, less sustainable risk management, or divergent performance can expect closer review, especially once trading live. This helps protect both your account longevity and our real capital while you demonstrate that your approach works in live conditions.

The patterns that point toward a higher-risk profile include, but are not limited to:

Divergent Performance

A material gap between a trader's PRO and live PRO+ performance is one of the clearest signals of unsustainable behavior. We pay out PRO winners every day, but when sim results don't replicate in live, we review the cause before extending additional capital. Where trading deliberately exploits the simulated environment or reflects reckless risk management, TPT reserves the right to step in at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice.

When Trading Doesn't Reflect An Edge-Based Strategy

Not all aggressive or unconventional trading is the same. A trader who takes larger positions spread out across a session, or whose approach is unusual but reflects a genuine effort to develop a repeatable trading edge, may be striving towards something we can eventually back, even when their style is high-risk. We can work with that trader, and may extend closer review or modified parameters as they demonstrate sustainability in live conditions.

A trader whose activity reflects mostly aggressively sized positions at fixed, predictable market moments like the open, key economic releases, or other simulation-favorable windows, is more indicative of simulation-only strategies, and not an attempt at developing a true trading edge. The same applies to approaches that rely on simulation-specific advantages rather than skill or edge that would carry into a live market.

These aren’t styles we will fund as it’s not sustainable in the live market, regardless of whether any individual trade wins or loses. Where these trades or patterns are identified, TPT may part ways as funding partners without prior notice. This is a recognition that the relationship can't extend to live capital based on what the trading reflects.

How We Evaluate

We assess trading holistically, using factors including execution patterns, fill quality, position sizing, trade duration and frequency, market conditions, performance across Test/PRO/PRO+, and drawdown behavior. No single metric determines the outcome.

The Bottom Line

You're free to trade your way, including aggressively. Just understand that higher-risk and less sustainable trading draws closer review. This policy exists to make sure the traders we fund can sustainably manage risk, in both the simulated and live market environments.

What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an additional security layer used on the TPT platform to protect user accounts by requiring more than one verification factor during authentication or sensitive actions. MFA helps ensure that access to an account is granted only to the account owner, even if login credentials are compromised. MFA reduces the risk of unauthorized access to user accounts. It helps protect sensitive account data and critical actions even if a password is compromised.

 

Setting up your MFA

  1. If you choose to set up MFA when prompted, click Set Up MFA and select an Authenticator app. Setting up your MFA is completely optional.

How to Activate Your Rithmic Data Feed

  3. \nOpen the Rithmic Trader Pro app and enter your Rithmic account credentials from your dashboard into both fields the order and market data in the Rhythmic Trader Pro app. To do this, simply click on the field of your dashboard you wish to copy and paste it where required.\n

  4. Please ensure that you select Rithmic Paper Trading as the system for both fields. Based on your location, select the appropriate gateway from the options provided (e.g Chicago Area) and then click on Login to proceed.

  5. You will be prompted to sign the market data agreements. Please open and carefully read through the first agreement.

  6. Once you have reviewed the document and scrolled all the way to the bottom, you will be able to select 'I Agree'. You need to click on it to proceed.

  2. Locate your CQG account. Please note that its status will initially appear as Pending. This status will update to Active once you have successfully completed all the steps outlined in this video. Click on your CQG account to find the Tradovate credentials.

  3. Navigate to tradovate.com and copy and paste your credentials into the appropriate fields on the login screen on Tradovate. To copy them, simply click on the Credential field and it will be ready to paste wherever required.

  4. Click on Login. You will be prompted to review and sign the Market Data Agreement. Carefully read through the agreement to ensure you understand its terms.

  5. Then, select the Non-Professional option and click on Next to continue.

  6. In the next section, take a moment to review the agreement. Acknowledge your understanding and acceptance by checking the appropriate boxes.

When you reach your PRO account, you have the ability withdraw funds on day one. However, you must build a buffer on the account first. 

You can withdraw your profits at 80% once you reach the level of your maximum drawdown which we refer to as the \"buffer zone\". For example, if you have a $50,000 account, your maximum drawdown or buffer zone is $2,000. In this case, you will need to reach a balance of $52,000 in order to start withdrawing at 80% of total profit.

What a Subscription Means

A subscription is your pathway toward earning a specific PRO account.
Under one subscription, you can make multiple attempts (resets) to reach that PRO account without creating a new user.

Monitoring & Enforcement:

Our surveillance systems monitor trading behavior, execution data, and related technical indicators for patterns that indicate coordinated or non-independent trading activity, including but not limited to:
